Great Service and good food! Waitlisted on Yelp and as we arrived our table was ready. Love when that happens. We ordered the Beef set along with the Cold Noodles and both were delicious. The beef combo came with a variety of meats and a choice of stew. Service was attentive and friendly. It was definitely a plus when eating here. While you're taken to your table, the banchan's are already waiting for you. There's a variety of radishes, potatoes, and salads. They asked us a few times which items we wanted to refill which was very nice. Shortly thereafter, you order and the first the meats arrive with the stew and cheese corn. They start with the thinnest nonreasoned meats and work their way to the seasoned meats. All of the meats were so tender and delicious. While you're halfway through your meal, the Cold Noodles come. It was so refreshing and the pickled radish in the noodles makes such a good balance with the meat and a good finishing dish Overall, we had a great dinner/experience. We definitely prefer it over the AYCE spots we've been to.

I love this spot. Meat cuts are always premium, tender, fresh. Can't go wrong with the variety of intestines too. I usually go with a party of 2 and I would get the beef small which I find is more than enough for 2 ppl and add on a la carte specific meats that you want aka pork belly. I love the side dishes and the service. They keep this place clean and well ventilated for a bbq spot! They also cook the meat for you so less work for you!

Joined yelp waitlist an hour ahead before arriving and still had to wait another 15 minutes before getting seated. This place is soo packed so def recommend joining the waitlist earlier especially for larger parties. Their side dishes were soo good- fish cakes, kimchi, pickled jalapeños, mashed potatoes, bean sprouts, Korean fried chicken potato, and salad. They were really good at refilling all of the side dishes when we were low. We ordered the large beef combo for 5 and it was really good, meat was tender, and perfectly seasoned. It came with a side of soybean stew, corn cheese, ramen, and leek pancakes. Also tried their spicy braised beef ribs and the meat was tender and flavorful. Sadly they ran out of the egg but the food was all really good and service was excellent!

Amazing food amazing service!! Great vibes!! Genuinely I would recommend this spot to everyone! Best spot in OC!!

If you're looking for high-quality KBBQ with amazing service, KingChang - Buena Park is the place to go! The service was amazing --our server was super attentive and cooked all the meat perfectly, so we could just relax and enjoy. We ordered the Small Beef Combo, which came with prime thinly sliced brisket, prime boneless short rib, and seasoned prime rib. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The combo also included soybean paste stew, steamed egg, and corn cheese, We also got the Dried Pollack Hangover Ramen and Fish Cake Soup--both were packed with umami and super comforting. Lots of parking in the area and super spacious

Had a great time introducing LARGE INTESTINE, a la carte, to a Korean BBQ fan at this popular spot. They use Yelp for the waitlist, which made getting a table pretty smooth. We also ordered the COUPLE SET (Brisket, Pork Belly, and Bulgogi), and both were excellent. The large intestine was prepared at the kitchen and served steaming hot. The grill-your-own-meat at the table was fun, flavorful and well-marinated. Possibly, one of the highlights was the variety of side dishes, as each one was fresh, delicious, and added to the experience. The banchan selection really stood out and made the meal even more enjoyable. As a small souvenir, we left carrying the signature smoky aroma of a great KBBQ night. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

My brother was leaving town for a bit and wanted to celebrate with one last bang. He is an avid lover of intestines and has dragged us to different BBQ spots to try them. However, we somehow missed King Chang. This was the time. We went when it opened and were greeted with friendly smiles. While waiting for our table, we saw a wall full of autographs of famous people who dined there. The restaurant itself was very cozy and reminiscent of traditional Korean bbq restaurants. We were seated within five minutes. My daughter recently became a fan of chicken feet and was disappointed when a non-spicy version was not available. She ordered the hand cut noodles, mandu, and corn cheese instead. My wife and I ordered the couples set and my brother, of course, got the intestine combo. The banchan came flying out of the kitchen almost immediately and my son was eating the anchovies like rice. He had about three refills. All the banchan were very flavorful with this particularly bok choy side dish especially crisp, refreshing, and well seasoned. Once the corn cheese arrived, my daughter forgot all about the chicken feet and had two more helpings of that. My wife asked how much extra corn cheese was and surprisingly, the chef cooking our meats said that because she was eating soo well, that the corn cheese would be on the house! The meat itself was very tender. It was nice that there was someone cooking the meat so we could thoroughly enjoy our meal. My wife, terrified of the thought of eating innards, actually tried some and liked it! She did say that it was quite fatty and heavy but reminded her of "a very delicious sausage." King Chang is the quintessential traditional Korean BBQ spot. It has all the essentials without the fluff of sushi, wagyu meats, and desserts. Highly recommend!

First time at King Chang, and I can see why my Korean girlfriend loves this place. The lively ambiance, upbeat music, and attentive staff were definite highlights. Food: * Banchan: Great variety--Japchae noodles, broccoli, candied peanuts, fish jerky, salad, and bean sprouts were all solid. The kimchi, however, was pale and bland. * Couple Combo: My boyfriend and his daughter, who lived in Seoul for years and is quite picky, loved the pork belly but found the Galbi a bit too sweet. The soybean paste stew was good but not the best she's had. * Seafood Pancake: Our favorite! Packed with seafood and perfectly crispy--if you love pancakes, this is a must-order. * Spicy Octopus Rice in Hot Stone Pot: Absolutely delicious! I wished for more octopus and less rice, but it was so good I happily took leftovers home. * Buckwheat Noodles in Chilled Broth: Served mid-meal, though it felt more like a dessert. It was okay but not something I'd reorder. * Corn Cheese: Simply delicious. Overall, we had an amazing experience. There's a reason this spot is a favorite among K-pop and K-drama stars. Just a heads-up--you will leave smelling like KBBQ, so come prepared!

This place is a local favorite, and known for their variety of intestines. It's really good! The intestines are made and served from the kitchen, which I appreciate because it doesn't make the grill all funky. We ordered the large intestines and it was SO good. Flavorful with excellent texture. However it was a little heavy due to how oily and fatty it was. The meats itself is cooked in front of you, we ordered the brisket and marinated galbi. It's pretty good but the quality of meats is subpar compared to other kbbq joints in the area. Overall great experience.
